So happy to meet you (albeit virtually)!

Shoshanna Richman decided at an early age to "be Annie" when she grew up.

On her 5th birthday, she went to her first Broadway show: Cats. While she refused to clap until her grandmother guilted her, and spent the bulk of that matinee performance facing backwards to watch the conductor in the monitor, Shoshanna was IN. She now understood that "being Annie" was a real thing called acting and that there was a magical street where you could do it, possibly while dressed as a cat.

Shoshanna eventually convinced her parents that she was deadly serious (and not tone deaf), spending her summers at the Walnut Hill School for the Arts, her Saturdays at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts Teen Program, and her every waking minute studying musicals and theatre people, developing a creepy-encyclopedic  super-nerd knowledge. She went on to graduate from New York University's Steinhardt School with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance/Musical Theatre.

Shoshanna resides in Astoria and is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association. She would still very much like to be Annie and hopes that you will think of her for any and all Annie-related needs.
